WHEN DOES THE SESSION TAKE PLACE?
WHEN AND WHERE WILL WE SCHEDULE IT?

During my years as a maternity photographer, I have found it best to schedule photo sessions between 28 and 34 weeks. Of course, this can vary depending on how much the mother-to-be is showing, but I prefer to err on the side of caution and schedule early. This gives us plenty of time to reschedule if needed and ensures that we capture the beauty and essence of this special time in your life.

I try to schedule maternity sessions about one hour before sunset so we can get a gorgeous, lit photo shoot. My favorite spot for maternity photo sessions is Brant Point Lighthouse.

WHEN SHOULD I SCHEDULE MY MATERNITY PHOTO SESSION?

The ideal time to reach out for maximum convenience is definitely during the second trimester of the pregnancy, as this ensures that I am available and sufficiently prepared to provide the best possible service.

WHO ELSE CAN PARTICIPATE?

Be sure to bring along your significant other, older children as well as your furry companions (assuming they’re on a leash or have someone to hold them during the photo session). It’s always more fun to have everyone join in on the memories.
